Abstract

The research outcomes suggest certain dependence between the major linear parameters of the mesognathic dental arches and the permanent teeth sizes. Individuals with macrodontia had dental arches that were significantly wider and deeper compared to cases with microdontia. As a rule, the major parameters of the dental arches are determined by the size of the permanent teeth and, to a smaller extent, by gender or racial features.
