These women were typed for ABO blood group, alongwith a detailed past obstetric history was also recorded for observing the role of these factors on their reproductive performance. In both the categories, there is preponderance of blood group B, i.e. 37.33 percent in induced and 38.00 percentin spontaneous abortion categories.

The past obstetric history of women from spontaneous category is showing a greater tendency of foetal loss (63.36 percent) as compared to induced category (39.48 percent).
